Dr Yaz Osho

A lecturer and programme leader currently teaching in the areas of entrepreneurship, ethnic enterprise, employability, social enterprise and sustainability. Currently leading the BSc (Hons.) Enterprise and Small Business Development programme at GSM London, her vision of an innovative and inclusive programme is being fostered through outreach, curriculum design, student engagement and the process of embedding techniques to fully engage students from a widening participation background.
About Me

Having over ten years experience lecturing and researching in numerous Higher Education institutions, including Goldsmiths College, University of Sussex, University of Westminster, University of East London, Kings’ College, Middlesex University, GSM London and INTO City University/University of East Anglia, Dr. Yaz Iyabo Osho has a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of HEI and the diversity of students within it. Most recently, she has secured a pilot for the programme with Virgin on the Student LifeStart project alongside a select number of public universities. She has previous experience in lecturing in the areas of ‘race’ and ethnicity’; the politics of education and access; sociology; media and cultural studies; employability; cultures of work and business management.
